RooLife Group joins JioMart to launch Aussie pavilion in India

Australian e-commerce company RooLife Group (ASX:RLG) has launched its RLG Marketplace platform in India through a partnership with Reliance Retail's e-commerce arm, JioMart.

The Australian Pavilion, an online platform to market and sell premium Australian products, was unveiled in Bangalore, India.

The initiative, named "A Taste of Australia," aims to introduce Australian food, health, and wellness products to Indian consumers by leveraging JioMart’s extensive customer base and distribution network.

The launch event was supported by Austrade, Globali, and investment and trade organisations from Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.

The venture capitalises on the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, which sets more than 85% of Australian goods to become duty-free in India.

Munish Sharma, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Australian Trade and Investment Commission commented, "We are delighted to support the RLG Group venture into India with Reliance Retail/JioMart. This tie-up means that Australian products are easily accessible to consumers across India."

RooLife Group CEO, Bryan Carr, stated, "RLG is delighted to be partnering with JioMart and Reliance Retail to bring quality Australian products direct to Indian consumers. By leveraging the combined capabilities and customer bases of RLG and our partners, we can introduce a wide range of Australian products to Indian consumers."

The newly formed partnership with Indian company Globali will handle importation, logistics, and warehousing.

Initially, the platform will feature five Australian brands, including RooLife's VORA Health range, aiming to onboard 20 brands within the first year.
