Renascor Resources secured a $5 million government grant under the Australian Government's international partnerships in critical minerals program.

The funding is set to co-finance nearly half of the capital expenditure to develop a $10 million demonstration processing plant for purified spherical graphite used in lithium-ion battery anodes.

The purified spherical graphite demonstration facility will utilise graphite concentrates sourced from Renascor's wholly-owned Siviour graphite deposit in South Australia.

The plant's design and engineering are based on Renascor's definitive feasibility-level battery anode material study, which was completed in August 2023.
