Red Mountain Mining (ASX:RMX) has begun preliminary field work on the Charlotte lithium project in the Northern Territory, with four pegmatite outcrops mapped over accessible parts of the tenement, and three identified in field mapping.
The company says mineral assemblages including oxidised micas and tourmaline have also been observed in hand specimens.
Red Mountain Mining says significant portions of the EL33346 tenement remains underexplored due to wet season access issues.
It also says sampling at its USA lithium project has recommenced at Lithic & Mustang.
