RareX (ASX:REE) has begun a diamond drilling program at its Cummins Range Rare Earths and Phosphate Project in Western Australia following flora and fauna surveys.
The company said the drilling will support all three proposed stages of the Cummins Range development and provide vital data for ongoing mining studies.
It also said Initial results from the program are expected in the coming months, and a Scoping Study for the Staged development of the project is targeted for delivery in July 2023.
RareX added drilling will target the Indicated portion of the Mineral Resource within both the Rare and Phos Dykes, which totals 67Mt @ 0.5% total rare earth oxide (TREO) and 7% P2O5 (phosphorus pentoxide).
