AI company Rabbit has refuted allegations made by YouTube investigator Stephen Findeisen, also known as Coffeezilla, who accused Rabbit of running a nonfungible token (NFT) scam and hiding it through rebranding.

On May 22, Findeisen criticised Rabbit for allegedly misleading supporters of the Gama NFT project, which was associated with the company's former identity as Cyber Manufacture.

Rabbit’s spokesperson clarified that the Gama project and Rabbit's current AI ventures are separate, and the rebranding was openly communicated.

Additionally, the spokesperson emphasised that over 80% of Rabbit's current employees joined after the rebranding in December 2023 and that the Gama project was concluded and open-sourced with investor support.

The company also highlighted the success of their new Rabbit R1 AI product, citing significant user engagement and continuous improvements based on feedback.
