Pure Resources (ASX:PR1) has announced preliminary results from its maiden geological fieldwork campaign that covered less than 5% of the 270? project area in Quebec.
Pure Resources’ Laforge lithium project has identified new outcropping pegmatite occurrences with three samples observed containing visual spodumene which fluoroesced under ultraviolet light.
The company says due to extensive snow cover over the project, just 240 rock samples were collected, with 41 pegmatite or pegmatite samples collected.
Pure Resources says the strong success from this early and limited field campaign has given the company great confidence in the prospectivity of Laforge.
