PointsBet completed the US business sale to Fanatics Betting and Gaming for US$225 million ($342.7 million), with a final instalment of US$50 million ($76.1 million).

The deal cleared all US gaming regulatory approvals, transferring US sports wagering, iGaming operations, and related technology assets.

PointsBet retains its Australian and Canadian trading businesses, proprietary technology platform, and Banach technology assets license for growth.

The board will review the financial position for a second capital return to shareholders post-sale.
