Pantera Capital has recently invested in The Open Network (TON), drawing attention to the significant Web3 possibilities this partnership could unlock for Telegram's 900 million monthly users.

This investment is spurred by TON's integration with the popular messaging app Telegram, which in April announced its move to tokenise emojis, stickers, and NFTs on TON's platform, hinting at the potential for TON to emerge as one of the most influential crypto networks.

According to Pantera, Telegram's massive user base and its alignment with Web3 ideals uniquely position it to introduce cryptocurrencies to a broader audience.

Additionally, Pantera praises TON for its blockchain architecture, which ensures high performance and scalability, alongside a wallet that combines utility with ease of use, marking this partnership as a strategic move towards making crypto more accessible through Telegram's widespread influence.
