Panasonic is partnering with IoT platform developer Jasmy to launch a Web3 platform aimed at enhancing personal data management on the Internet-of-Things (IoT).

This innovative platform will leverage Jasmy's Personal Data Locker to offer a decentralised data storage solution.

The collaboration, which began in February, was officially announced on March 26, aiming to bolster data security, user control over data access, and improve both processing and reaction times in the IoT landscape.

Jasmy CFO Hiroshi Harada, also known as Hara on social media, has indicated that the development of this new platform is expected to be completed within 3-6 months.

This partnership underscores a significant step in advancing personal data protection and control within the IoT domain.
