OverProtocol, a Layer 1 blockchain, is gearing up for a mainnet launch in the first half of next year, following a successful closed beta testnet with 15,000 applicants globally, and 1,300 completing all tests.

An open beta testnet and a community incentive program are announced to prepare for the mainnet launch, aiming to engage and reward participants.

The OverProtocol Community Airdrop Program (OCAP) will distribute rewards through two main quests, the first already active with over 4.7 million users on OverWallet, and the second inviting users to run validators on the Open Beta Testnet.

The Open Beta Testnet is split into two seasons, with Season 1 running from December 13th to 22nd and Season 2 scheduled for February, featuring Home Staking and introducing Ethanos, a key OverProtocol feature.
