Noronex (ASX:NRX) has announced the granting of new exploration prospecting licences (EPLs) totalling 3,269km2 on the highly prospective Kalahari Copper Belt in Namibia, increasing its total granted licence area from 2,368km2 to 5,637km2.
Noronex says structural targets have been defined at the Blowhole prospect, and historical drilling at the Humpback Project's Fiesta Prospect has reported up to 8m @ 2.5 % in EISEB20 from 127m.
It also has plans to commence orientation geochemistry and drilling at the Witvlei and Snowball JV projects.
Noronex says the licences cover a total of 6,998 km2 on the Kalahari Copper Belt, which runs from central Namibia to northern Botswana, and have the potential to add to the company's current resources.
