    Nitro Software's (ASX:NTO) majority shareholders don't approve Alludo Scheme

    Nitro Software (ASX:NTO) has announced its shareholders didn't approve by the requisite majorities the proposed Alludo Scheme, proposed by Rocket BidCo, to acquire all of the shares in Nitro.

    Nitro Software says 67.93% of votes cast in favour and 32.07% of votes cast against the Scheme, and 55.18% of its shareholders voted in favour of the Scheme, and 44.82% against. 

    The Alludo Takeover Offer remains open for Nitro Shareholders to accept and the Nitro Board unanimously recommends that Nitro Shareholders accept the offer.

    Following the announcement, shares of Nitro Software (ASX:NTO) were unchanged at $2.14.
