Nigeria's Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, refuted allegations regarding Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan's purported poor prison conditions and deteriorating health.

He asserted that Gambaryan receives adequate medical care and full consular support, emphasising the government's commitment to lawful judicial proceedings.

The statement comes in response to recent claims and a video by U.S. Congress members advocating for Gambaryan's release from the Kuje Detention facility.

Despite calls for his release, Idris affirmed that Gambaryan's detention is based on a court order, and the government will continue to uphold his rights during legal proceedings in Nigeria.
