Nib Holdings reported a half-year net profit after tax of $106.4 million for FY24, marking a 19% increase from the year-ago period.

Revenue from ordinary activities rose 13% to $1.71 billion, driven by increased insurance revenue and policyholder growth in all underwriting segments.

The Australian Residents Health Insurance business saw a 3.7% policyholder increase, and the International Inbound Health Insurance business surpassed 200,000 policyholders.

Nib's New Zealand operations reported a 2.3% growth in the policyholder base.

The board declared a fully franked interim dividend of 15 cents per share, payable on April 10.
