NextDC (ASX:NXT) is expanding its data centre footprint in Asia with developments in Kuala Lumpur and Auckland, which will be completed by 1H 2026.

The Malaysian centre will have a power capacity of 65 MW, while the Auckland centre will have capacity of more than 10 MW but could support up to 15 MW based on higher density deployments.

The company is reportedly planning to invest $250M into the Kuala Lumpur centre and $140M into the Auckland centre.

NextDC said it will fund the development of the data centres via a $618M entitlement offer priced at $10.80 per new share.
