New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU) reports $27M profit in fiscal Q4

New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE:EDU) reported a profit of $27 million for its fiscal fourth quarter on Wednesday.

The Beijing-based educational services provider recorded earnings of 16 cents per share, with adjusted earnings, accounting for one-time gains and costs, coming in at 22 cents per share.

The company generated $1.14 billion in revenue during the quarter.

For the full fiscal year, New Oriental reported a profit of $309.6 million, or $1.85 per share, with total revenue reaching $4.31 billion.

Looking ahead, New Oriental expects revenue for the current quarter ending in August to be between $1.25 billion and $1.28 billion, indicating a positive outlook for the company's growth in the near term.
