    Mt. Gox begins compensation to creditors for 2014 hack

    Nearly a decade after the closure of Mt. Gox cryptocurrency exchange, the appointed trustee has reportedly begun reimbursing creditors in yen lump sums.

    The move comes as the first round of repayments after a significant hack in 2014 led to the company's downfall and the loss of customers' funds.
