MRG Metals disclosed Phase 2 exploration findings at the Shawa carbonatite mining licences in Zimbabwe.
The company reported high-grade results from 376 outcrops and 670 soil samples analysed via portable XRF.
Results include phosphorus concentrations up to 48,405 ppm (4.84% P) in outcrop and 12,598 ppm (1.26% P) in soil samples. Strontium readings peaked at 8,076 ppm in outcrop and 1,204 ppm in soil, while iron values reached up to 632,512 ppm (63.25% Fe) in outcrop and 288,960 ppm (28.90% Fe) in soil.
Samples will be analysed in a South African lab following approval from Zimbabwean authorities.
