    Mount Burgess Mining (ASX:MTB) renewal of Botswana Prospecting Licence

    Mount Burgess Mining (ASX:MTB) is pleased to announce that their application to renew Prospecting Licence PL043/2016 for their Kihabe and Nxuu Project in Botswana has been granted for two years to 31 December 2024.

    The licence covers an area of 995.9 square kilometres on the border with Namibia and is highly prospective for Zinc, Lead, Silver, Copper, Vanadium Pentoxide, Gallium and Germanium.

    To date, the Company has developed an Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 29.3 million tonnes containing 321,000 tonnes of Zinc metal, 154,000 tonnes of Lead metal, 5,400,000 ounces of Silver metal, 10,000 tonnes of Vanadium Pentoxide metal and 86,500 kg and 19,200 kg of Gallium and Germanium metals respectively.

    Following the announcement, shares of Mount Burgess Mining (ASX:MTB) were up 33.33%.
