Western Yilgarn (ASX:WYX) has announced the acceleration of its exploration activities at the Ida Holmes Project in Western Australia, following positive results from recent auger drilling and airborne TEM surveys.
The auger drilling program identified several promising exploration targets, including a significant 1.15km long conductor at the Ida Holmes Junction prospect.
The company has initiated the design and permitting process for a 6-to-9-hole reverse circulation drilling program to further investigate the IHJ prospect.
Additionally, a 34-hole aircore drilling program is planned to test high-priority Ni-Cu-PGE geochemical anomalies at IHJ.
Western Yilgarn is also targeting three discrete copper-platinum group element anomalies at the Hells Gate prospect with a 27-hole aircore program.
Initial auger sampling will be conducted at the Peregrine and Mt Holmes prospects to collect soil geochemical data.
