    West Wits Mining names new CEO

    West Wits Mining (ASX:WWI) has appointed Rudi Deysel as CEO, effective Dec. 1.

    Deysel previously served as COO and Country Manager (South Africa), where he played a crucial role in advancing several key initiatives for the company.

    Deysel commented on the appointment, saying, "I am deeply honoured to lead the execution of what is undoubtedly an exciting phase for West Wits and the Qala Shallows Project."

    With over 22 years of extensive experience in mining, Deysel’s expertise spans various commodities, including gold, PGMs, copper, and cobalt, across Africa.

    Before joining West Wits, Deysel held pivotal roles at leading mining companies such as Galiano Gold and ERG Africa.

    His leadership is anticipated to drive the company's long-term strategy and operational success.

    West Wits Mining is an ASX-listed focused on the exploration, development, and production of precious and base metals. The company’s projects include the Witwatersrand Basin Project and the Mt Cecelia Project.

    The Witwatersrand Basin Project is located in the gold region of Central Rand Goldfield of South Africa and boasts a 4.28 million ounces gold project.

    At the time of reporting, West Wits Mining's share price was $0.0135.
