Tasman Resources unveils key drill targets at Parkinson Dam Project

Tasman Resources (ASX:TAS) has announced significant advancements in its Parkinson Dam project in South Australia following a close-spaced in-fill gravity survey.

The survey has confirmed five primary drill targets that were initially identified by an April 2024 survey, enhancing the potential for discovering iron oxide, copper, and gold deposits in the region.

The in-fill gravity survey, conducted on a 200m grid, has supported all five magnetic targets identified by the Adelaide-based Archimedes Consulting.

The targets are associated with favourable gravity features, raising expectations for an extensive drilling program over the next six months.

"The encouraging geophysics, supported by previous high-grade gold, silver, lead, zinc, and copper drill intercepts over the 2006-2007 field seasons, supports the case for an extensive drilling program over these five untested targets," said Greg Solomon, executive chairman of Tasman Resources.

Previous drilling at Parkinson Dam in 2006 and 2007 intercepted significant mineralisation, including one drill hole that revealed 21m of high-grade gold and silver.

Archimedes Consulting was engaged to integrate this historical data with the recent survey results, providing a comprehensive analysis of the drill targets.

The Parkinson Dam project is located on the southern margin of the Gawler Craton, an area known for its numerous IOCG deposits, including prominent sites like Olympic Dam.

Further drilling is expected to commence soon.

At the time of reporting, Tasman Resources' share price was $0.005.
