Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM) released its quarterly activities report for the period to Sept. 30, highlighting progress in its copper exploration projects in southern Peru.
Surface grab samples from the Cinto Project have returned copper assays as high as 7.14% Cu.
Mapping has revealed mineralisation across a 200m by 100m area in historical workings.
The company's efforts at its Cinto and Chocolate projects include extensive drone magnetometry surveys that have identified magnetic anomalies in geologically favourable settings.
The integration of magnetometry, geochemistry, and mapping has deemed these projects high-priority exploration areas.
The company plans to commence drilling in the first quarter of 2025, pending permits.
Commenting on the progress, Michael Parker, Executive Director of Solis Minerals, stated, "It's been a very productive period for the company, utilising our expertise to focus on high-priority copper targets in the underexplored and prospective coastal belt of southern Peru."
The report also mentions that Solis has expanded its holdings with new applications for 25,600 hectares in the Canyon Project, aiming for copper porphyry mineralisation.
Michael Parker was appointed executive director, succeeding Matthew Boyes, demonstrating a leadership shift as Solis advances its exploration initiatives.
Solis Minerals is an emerging critical minerals explorer, focused on unlocking the vast potential of its South American assets.
