Rincon Resources (ASX:RCR) reported copper and total rare earth oxides results from recent reverse circulation drilling at the West Arunta Project in Western Australia.

The Pokali East site showed promising copper mineralisation right from the surface.

Five reverse circulation holes at Pokali East confirmed the vertical orientation of high-grade copper lodes, supporting the current iron oxide copper gold model.

Intercepts included 212m at 0.23% Cu from 2m in drill hole 24WARC026, and 4m at 3.87% Cu from 48m in drill hole 24WARC028.

Additionally, significant TREO mineralisation was found at Sheoak and K2 targets.

Highlights include 2m at 6,164ppm TREO from 14m at Sheoak in drill hole 24WARC018D and 2m at 3,103ppm TREO from 118m at K2 in drill hole 24WARC024.

Gary Harvey, Managing Director of Rincon Resources, stated, "The twinning of several historic holes and two untested locations at Pokali East has provided valuable QAQC data for future resource modelling and assisted in confirming our IOCG mineralization model. The potential for a significant multi-million tonne copper resource is now a real possibility."

Further updates are anticipated with assay results from Avalon diamond hole 24WARC013D expected by mid-October.

The company continues to focus on its copper corridor expansion at Pokali East and analyzing additional targets at West Arunta.

Rincon Resources is a copper-gold metals exploration company that acquires, explores, and develops commercially significant resource projects in Western Australia. The company has a 100% interest in three copper and gold projects in Western Australia.
