Rincon Resources (ASX:RCR) has launched a soil sampling program at its Laverton Project in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.

The initiative is aimed at delineating potential gold targets for future drilling activities. The company's land package in the Laverton gold district spans over 150km2.

Resource Potentials, an external consultancy, has been brought in to review data and identify gaps in the existing soil sampling efforts.

"We are pleased to finally kick start our new gold exploration strategy at Laverton with a substantial soil sampling program that aims to delineate new gold drilling targets for future drill testing," said Gary Harvey, Managing Director of Rincon Resources.

The collection of samples will be conducted by XM Logistics and is projected to take approximately two weeks.

All samples will be sent to ALS Global Laboratory in Perth for analysis. Results are expected in November.

Gary Harvey further noted, "It's also important to highlight that the areas of interest selected for sampling are associated with mineralised structures known to be associated with gold mines located along trend."

Rincon Resources is an ASX-listed copper-gold metals exploration company. The company acquires, explores, and develops commercially significant resource projects in Western Australia. The company has a 100% interest in three copper and gold projects in Western Australia.
