Raiden Resources (ASX:RDN) announced findings from its maiden diamond drilling program at the Andover South Lithium Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The first drill hole (ASDD023) in Target Area 7 intercepted a 250-metre pegmatite-bearing zone.

Drilling concluded at 558m due to mechanical issues, within a 57m thick pegmatite section, which will be redrilled.

Target Area 7 appears to be a major structural corridor suited for pegmatite emplacement.

Additional drilling is ongoing to explore further along the strike of ASDD023.

In Target Areas 1 and 2, assays from 12 drill holes have revealed a range of pegmatite intersections, the widest being 15.3m at 0.53% Li2O, while higher grade assays showed concentrations above 2% Li2O.

Further drilling is planned as the areas appear to be untested in the main target zones. Samples from the remaining drill holes from Target Areas 1, 2, and 7 will be sent for laboratory analysis with results expected in three to four weeks.

Dusko Ljubojevic, Managing Director of Raiden, stated, "The recent drill intercept on Target Area 7 has significant implications for our planning and targeting across the entire project."

Raiden Resources is a lithium-based metal gold exploration company focused on the Andover North-South, Mt Sholl, and Arrow lithium projects. Its Mt Sholl Lithium Project is located approximately 22km southeast of Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

At the time of reporting, Raiden Resources' share price was $0.023.
