Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) identified a new high-grade gold zone at its Lady Herial prospect within the Kambalda Gold & Nickel Project, returning its best gold intercept to date.

The newly discovered gold zone at surface, located in the Foster area, includes results such as 23m at 16.61 g/t gold from surface.

Additional intercepts included 13m at 4.10 g/t gold from 3m and 7m at 2.58 g/t gold from surface.

The Lady Herial prospect remains open down plunge, offering promising potential for future exploration.

Lunnon Metals' Managing Director, Edmund Ainscough, commented on the findings, "New opportunities just keep opening up at Lady Herial. Just when we think we have found the limits on one structure; the next set of results identifies new mineralised zones we didn’t know about in otherwise poorly tested areas."

The company has identified two parallel mineralised structures approximately 50m-60m apart, both dipping northwest.

In particular, hole FOS24RC_056 recorded a striking intercept of 23m at 16.61 g/t gold from surface, representing the company's best gold result to date, including 6m at 62.47 g/t gold from 17m.

The Lady Herial prospect, due to its near-surface high-grade gold findings, continues to be a priority for Lunnon Metals.

Upon completion of remaining assays, geological modelling and optimisation studies will determine the potential for an initial mineral resource estimate.

At the time of reporting, Lunnon Metals' share price was $0.22.
