Koba Resources reported positive initial results from its maiden drilling program at the Yarramba Uranium Project in South Australia.

The first nine drill holes at the Oban Uranium Deposit have intersected shallow high-grade uranium mineralisation.

Results include 3.9m at 805 ppm eU3O8 from 87m downhole and 2.1m at 870ppm eU3O8 from 86.3m.

Further drilling at the Oban Deposit will include around 70 additional holes, aiming to expand the resource base by targeting high-grade trends within and beyond the known resource area.

Koba Resources’ Managing Director and CEO, Ben Vallerine, highlighted the significance of these findings. "We are pleased to report strong initial results from our maiden drilling program at the Yarramba Uranium Project, with the first holes returning shallow, high-grade intersections, including 3.9m at 805ppm eU3O8."

Following the completion of drilling at the Oban Deposit, Koba plans to target the under-explored Mt John prospect, located 4km north of the Jason uranium deposit.

Approximately 30 holes will be drilled to discover new mineralisation in the area.

Koba Resources remains optimistic about the potential for further high-grade uranium discoveries as the drilling program continues over the coming months.

Koba Resources is a resources company focused on advancing the Yarramba Uranium Project in South Australia.

The Yarramba Uranium Project is located approximately 450km northeast of Adelaide and 60km northwest of Broken Hill within the Frome Embayment.
