Asra Minerals (ASX:ASR) has reported drilling results from its Kookynie and Mt Stirling Gold projects.
The company completed three reverse circulation drill holes at Kookynie East, targeting the Sapphire, Orion, and Gladstone prospects, all of which intersected the expected mineralised structures.
Intersections from the Sapphire historical mine include 4m at 8.84 g/t Au from 79m, with a peak of 1m at 24.7 g/t (79-80m).
The Gladstone mine saw intersections of 2m at 3.18 g/t Au from 57m and 2m at 2.77 g/t Au from 64m, while the Orion prospect returned 4m at 3.12 g/t Au from 67m.
Paul Summers, Executive Chairman of Asra Minerals, said, "We are excited with the results of these maiden drill holes, that were designed to validate and provide confidence in historical drilling and provide valuable structural information from the drill core."
The reverse circulation drill program has helped validate historical drilling data, providing structural insights crucial for resource growth targets and geological modelling.
Detailed aeromagnetic surveys have been completed at both projects, with processing and interpretation currently underway.
Asra is proceeding with a 4,000m aircore and reverse circulation drill program at Mt Stirling ahead of schedule, focusing on high-priority targets east of the Diorite King mine.
Following this, reverse circulation drilling will resume at Kookynie East, targeting untested resource growth areas and generating further valuable data for the year ahead.
At the time of reporting, Asra Minerals' share price was $0.005.
