Argosy Minerals moves Rincon Lithium Project toward 2025 construction

Argosy Minerals (ASX:AGY) reported progress in advancing its Rincon Lithium Project to a commercial stage.
The company is focusing on a clearly defined strategy to complete the 12,000 tonnes per annum project development engineering and definitive feasibility study, targeting a final investment decision in the second half of 2025.
Feasibility and engineering work is being conducted with international firms Lycopodium and Saxum.
The efforts aim to support an expedited development schedule, leveraging operational data and mechanical design improvements gleaned from a 2,000 tpa demonstration facility.
This work is anticipated to culminate in the timely commencement of construction by late 2025.
The company has already achieved the regulatory approval to construct and operate the facility, marking a critical step forward.
Continued engagement in securing a strategic partnership is part of the effort to fund the commercial-scale project.
Argosy Managing Director Jerko Zuvela stated, "The company's immediate commercial objective is to finalise the engineering/DFS works to accelerate the development of the Rincon Lithium Project toward production."
The project continues to attract strategic partner interest, and Argosy is currently evaluating proposals that align with the company’s long-term sustainable growth aims.
Argosy Minerals is engaged in the development of the Rincon Lithium Project and the exploration of the Tonopah Lithium Project. The company has an interest in the Rincon Lithium Project in Salta Province, Argentina and a 100% interest in the Tonopah Lithium Project in Nevada, United States.
