Argent Minerals (ASX:ARD) reported assay results from their recent rock chip sampling program at the Kempfield Polymetallic Au-Ag-Pb-Zn Project, New South Wales.
The program confirms silver, gold, lead, and zinc mineralisation outside the defined resource.
Test data from the Kempfield NW and NE zones show substantial silver assays, with the NW Zone yielding up to 117 g/t Ag (sample 3001009).
Other notable NW results include 73.4 g/t Ag (sample 3000996) and 66.9 g/t Ag paired with 0.12% Pb (sample 3001003).
The NE Zone’s top results include 126 g/t Ag and 0.23 g/t Au (sample 3000937), highlighting significant mineralisation.
Managing Director Pedro Kastellorizos remarked, "We are delighted that the latest surface assay results have confirmed new mineralised gossan/baritic lithologies within the Kempfield NW and NE Mineralised Zones.. elevating Kempfield’s exploration upside. We are currently drilling these newly defined mineralised zones over Kempfield NW Zone."
The Kempfield NW Zone now extends approximately 1.97 km along strike, with an average width of 100m, still open to the west and northeast.
The NE Zone is about 1 km along strike with an average width of 170m.
The company awaits further results from 54 geochemical assays at the Trunkey Creek Gold Project, located 9km southeast of the Kempfield Deposit, contributing to ongoing exploration activities.
