Anson Resources (ASX:ASN), a mineral resources company, has concluded its second geotechnical engineering survey at the Green River Lithium Project site in Emery County, Utah, USA.

The survey is a crucial step toward finalising the Definitive Feasibility Study for their proposed direct lithium extraction plant.

The survey findings confirmed that subsurface conditions at the proposed DLE processing plant site are suitable for construction.

Extensive subsurface exploration was conducted, comprising seven boreholes and eight trenches, which will inform the engineering studies and construction recommendations for the plant's foundations.

"Our comprehensive geotechnical and geophysical surveys provide us with valuable data on subsurface conditions ensuring our foundation design is robust and suited for this project," said Bruce Richardson, executive chairman and CEO of Anson Resources.

The investigations involved analysing the dynamic properties of subsurface materials, with geophysical surveys providing further insights.

The site's geology predominantly consists of alluvial deposits underlain by gravel, with bedrock intersected at varying depths.

The completion of this phase highlights Anson's commitment to progressing its Green River Project, pivotal for expanding its lithium production capabilities.

Anson Resources is a junior mineral resources company. The principal activity of the company is the exploration and evaluation of mineral licenses and process development primarily for the extraction of lithium, bromine, iodine and boron chemicals.

At the time of reporting, Anson Resources’ share price was $0.074.
