Alice Queen (ASX:AQX) has completed its third drill hole (25VDD003) at the Viani Project in Fiji, intersecting the target zone 300 meters below the surface.
The company's maiden drilling program confirmed high-grade epithermal gold mineralisation extending from surface to a depth of 175m.
Previous holes (24VDD001 and 25VDD002) also intersected gold zones, with the highest grade result being 26.4 g/t.
The third hole, which extends the alteration zone to 300m, has been sampled and dispatched for assay, with results expected within three weeks.
Alice Queen has commenced drilling a fourth hole (25VDD004) to test the lateral extent of the gold mineralisation, 50-80m to the west-northwest of the previous high-grade zone.
The Viani Project, which spans over 3km of surface mineralization, remains open at depth and along strike.
Alice Queen plans further trenching to identify additional high-grade zones for future drilling.
Alice Queen aims to explore deeper high-grade gold ore shoots within this confirmed epithermal gold system.
The ongoing drill program, initiated in December 2024, is advancing rapidly, and positive results from the initial holes support the potential for gold discoveries.
