Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) has commenced diamond drilling at its Kameelburg Niobium and Rare Earth Elements Project in Namibia.

The project aims to test positive mineralisation signals detected in recent surveys.

Utilising company-owned drilling rigs and teams, Aldoro is set to minimise costs and maximise operational efficiency.

The drilling initiative involves a total of seven holes, with depths ranging from 200m to 400m across the identified carbonatite formations.

The drilling is designed to enhance understanding of resource potential and depth grading in preparation for advanced resource drilling stages.

"The commencement of diamond drilling at Kameelburg marks a significant progression in our exploration activities," the company said in a statement.

Additional preparatory work, such as track construction to all drill pads, is nearing completion, ensuring all logistics are in place for a smooth operation.

Aldoro Resources has committed to expediting assay processes as the drilling advances, and to maintain open communication with shareholders regarding the project's progression.
