Midas Minerals completed first-pass mapping and sampling at its Aylmer Project in Northwest Territories, Canada, identifying 17 new spodumene pegmatites over a 4km trend.

The company reported that the pegmatites within the South Aylmer claims range from 10 to 30m wide and demonstrate lithium endowment, with rock chip samples indicating up to 7.76% Li2O.

Assay results from channel sampling on the large Argus pegmatite are pending. A drilling and exploration camp permit has been granted for the next five years.

The company plans to conduct further low-cost exploration activities to identify additional pegmatites along the trend.
