Midas Minerals (ASX:MM1) has entered into an agreement to acquire the Greenbush lithium project in Canada which is 102?, as well as several other tenement groups totalling 4.4?.

Midas Minerals says historic government sampling returned 15m at 1.25% Li2O across a single pegmatite outcrop, open in all directions.

It also says the extent of the spodumene pegmatite potential remains undefined, with no evidence of prior drilling within 5km of the outcrop.

Midas Minerals says the acquisition is its first project outside of Western Australia, and is an opportunity to leverage its management team's vast experience in lithium exploration and development.
