Maximus Resources commenced a 1,500m reverse circulation drill program at its Hilditch Gold Project, situated 25km from Kambalda, Western Australia.

The program includes 24 holes aimed at infill and resource extension drilling to improve metallurgical testing and resource confidence classification.

Preliminary metallurgical tests indicate the Hilditch resource is free milling and suitable for conventional cyanide extraction methods.

Preparations for mining proposal and mine closure submissions are underway.

The company also completed a second-phase drilling at Wattle Dam Gold Mine, targeting potential structural offsets. Assay results are expected within three to four weeks.
