Maronan Metals disclosed results from initial metallurgical tests on its Maronan Project in Queensland, highlighting high-grade silver in lead concentrates and significant copper grades.

The focus was on unexplored pyroxene-hosted lead-silver and mixed copper sulphide ore types.

Silver grades in lead sulphide mineral concentrates reached up to 1,485 g/t at 51% lead content, indicating substantial silver content.

Preliminary flotation tests on mixed mineral copper sulphide ores showed 85-90% copper recoveries, with concentrate grades of 25-27% copper and 11-14 g/t gold.
