Lucapa Diamond and its partners from the Lulo Alluvial Mine sold three exceptional diamonds in Luanda, Angola, for a total of US$10.5 million ($16.3 million).

The diamonds, weighing 42, 116, and 203 carats, fetched this sum from their combined 361 carats.

The highest price went to the 203-carat diamond.

Managing Director Nick Selby highlighted the buoyant high-end diamond market with an average price per carat of US$29,000 ($45,148).
