Lord Resources (ASX:LRD) has announced an update on drilling at the Horse Rocks lithium project, located 20km south of Coolgardie in Western Australia.
Lord Resources says its halfway with its reverse circulation drilling, with a total to-date of 32 drillholes having been completed for 2,650m over the largest geochemical anomaly, and assays are expected in about two to three weeks.
It also says pegmatites were intercepted in all 32 holes with multiple wide zones of pegmatites intercepted up to 27m thick (downhole width).
Lord Resources says numerous shallow and potentially lithium-bearing pegmatites were intersected from surface with interval thicknesses of more than 20m.
