    London City Equities (ASX:LCE) announces a board change

    London City Equities (ASX:LCE) has just announced a change to its board.

    The Board of London City Equities announces that Mr Louis J. Joseph, thee group's Company Secretary, has been appointed a Director of the company. He replaces Mr Neil E Schafer who has advised he is standing down after three and a half years in that role, effective 25 October 2022.

    Mr Joseph has been closely involved with London City and associated companies for over six years. He was appointed Company Secretary in April 2016.

    Shares of London City Equities have stable following the announcement.

    Any change in the make-up of a company?s board can have an impact on a company?s stock price.

    Generally, age-related turnovers and voluntary resignations have a marginal impact on the share price.

    However, when either the Chairman or another board member is ousted, this can have a significant impact on the stock price.
