Lithium Energy (ASX:LEL) has announced an update on the drilling of the second and third diamond holes at the Solaroz Lithium Brine Project in Argentina.
Lihtium Energy says both drillholes encountered significant intersections of highly conductive brines in the upper aquifer, and further drilling has revealed conductive brines in fractured shales and the deep sands unit.
It also says Double Packer sampling and geophysical logging of the holes is underway to determine porosity and specific yield for geological modelling and future resource estimation.
Lithium Energy says assays are pending and the fourth and fifth holes of the programme are scheduled to commence shortly.
