Clayton McDonald has been appointed CEO of Lindsay Australia (ASX:LAU), effective from July 17.

The integrated transport, logistics, and rural supply company says Mr McDonald has extensive experience in the transport and logistics sector and is currently Group Executive Bulk at Aurizon.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Kim Lindsay will retire as Managing Director and CEO on June 23 and Craig Baker, Chief Operating Officer, will be appointed acting CEO in the interim until McDonald commences in the role.
