Lindian Resources (ASX:LIN) says its Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi continues to deliver high-grade assays from the Phase 1 drilling program.
Lindian Resources says all holes again have intersections of non-radioactive material with excellent grade for their entire lengths and with a significant percentage of critical rare earths elements of neodymium-praseodymium.
It says significant intersections include 179m from surface averaging 2.2% TREO including the best intercept to date of 35m @ 3.94% TREO from surface including 4m at 7.82%.
Lindian Resources' CEO Alistair Stephens says: "Kangankunde is without doubt shaping up as one of the world's most significant rare earths deposits. Our Mineral Resource Estimate to be reported in the second quarter of calendar 2023 will confirm this."
