LCL Resources has been cleared by the Labour Court in Medellin, Colombia, of all claims made by a former director of an acquired company totalling approximately 4.5 billion Colombian pesos ($1.7 billion).

LCL denied the allegations and plans to defend against the plaintiff's appeal to the Superior Court of Medellin, remaining optimistic despite the lack of a set date for the appeal.

The ruling is a significant step for LCL Resources, which aims to stabilise its position and operations amid legal challenges.

The company intends to defend its case in the upcoming appeal.
