Latitude Financial Services (ASX:LFS) has isolated some of its technology platforms and is working to restore services gradually over the coming days, following a cyber-attack which remains active.

As a result, approximately 330,000 customers and applicants had their personal information stolen.

Latitude Financial Services says its contacted customers and applicants to confirm what personal information has been stolen and have engaged IDCARE to provide free, confidential cyber incident information and assistance.

The company has advised people to regularly change passwords of important financial accounts, contact credit reporting bodies, refer to government information on cyber-security, be alert for phishing scams, verify the sender of communication, and use multi-factor authentication where possible.
