Krispy Kreme (NASDAQ:DNUT) has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2024, recording a 5.7% increase in net revenue to $442.7 million and a 6.7% rise in organic revenue to $440.9 million.

Despite these gains, the company reported a GAAP net loss of $6.7 million.

Meanwhile, the company continues to make strides in its 'Delivered Fresh Daily' program, significantly expanding its global points of access by 19.4% to 14,814.

These results underscore the company's successful pivot towards digital sales and global brand activations, which include introducing specialty doughnuts across 33 countries for Valentine's Day.

CEO Josh Charlesworth expressed satisfaction with the quarter's performance, attributing the success to robust digital sales and worldwide consumer demand.

In a significant development, Charlesworth also announced an upcoming nationwide rollout with McDonald’s, expected to introduce over 12,000 new points of access in the U.S. by the end of 2026.
