Kingfisher Mining has started preliminary site works at its Mick Well carbonatite area, with diamond drilling set to commence in early August.

The initiative is part of a government exploration incentive scheme to target Mick Well's defined carbonatite pipe structures.

Contractors for drilling and site works have been engaged, and all necessary approvals are in place.

The company is reviewing volcanogenic massive sulphide style base metal mineralisation, including reprocessing historical induced polarisation geophysical survey data over the Kingfisher prospect.
