Kaspersky warnings on Mac malware attacking crypto wallets

Russian cybersecurity firm, Kaspersky, has publicly announced the existence of a new malware strain specifically targeting cryptocurrency wallets used by Mac users.

The malicious software infiltrates users' systems by disguising itself as counterfeit applications.

Upon entering a computer system, the malware establishes a backdoor aimed at bitcoin wallets such as Exodus.

The infiltrating software then proceeds to replace these wallets with fake versions.
