Ironbark Zinc has acquired an 80% interest in two highly prospective copper projects in Mt Isa, Queensland.

The Simon Project and the Anderson Project were purchased from Aeon Metals (ASX:AML) for a total of $100,000, payable in two instalments.

The Simon Project, spanning 13km2, is situated directly adjacent to Austral Resources’Mt Kelly Copper Project and processing plant.

The Anderson Project covers 51km2 and includes multiple copper and rare earth element prospects along the mineral-rich May Downs Fault.

Initial exploration activities will include reconnaissance mapping, rock chip and soil sampling, and potentially an induced polarisation survey.
